As a child, Marylou always dreamed of exploring the vast prairie that surrounded her home. She would spend hours wandering through the tall grass, pretending to be an adventurer. But when her sister, Alice, goes missing, Marylou's dreams turn into a nightmare.

Determined to find Alice, Marylou sets out into the prairie alone. But soon, she realizes that the prairie is a dangerous place. The sun beats down on her relentlessly, and the wind howls like a banshee. She is surrounded by predators, and she has no way of knowing which way to go.

As days turn into nights, Marylou begins to lose hope. She is exhausted, hungry, and thirsty. But she refuses to give up. She knows that if she can just keep going, she will eventually find her way home.

One day, Marylou comes across a small group of travelers. They are amazed by her story, and they offer to help her find Alice. Together, they travel across the prairie, facing danger at every turn.

Finally, after weeks of searching, Marylou and the travelers find Alice. She is alive, but she is injured and weak. Marylou is overjoyed to have found her sister, but she knows that their journey is not over yet.

They must still make it back to civilization, and the prairie is still a dangerous place. But Marylou is not afraid. She has faced her fears and overcome them, and she knows that she can do anything.

Lost on the Prairie is an unforgettable story of survival and perseverance. It is a story that will inspire you to never give up on your dreams, no matter how difficult they may seem.
